What to build

Render TMAT groundwater stations as 3D inverted vertical cylinders descending beneath the terrain surface, visually highlighting the subterranean combustion hazard when levels fall below -40 cm.

Technical specifications

  1. Target files:
    • src/components/map/layers/tmat-3d-wells-layer.tsx: Inverted 3D column layer.
  2. Visual mechanics:
    • Normal (> 0 cm): Flat emerald disc at surface level.
    • Warning (-40 to 0 cm): Amber column descending into substrate.
    • Critical (< -40 cm): Deep red column descending significantly below ground.

Acceptance criteria

  • TMAT stations visibly project below terrain surface in 3D perspective.
  • Color and depth update dynamically with live sensor telemetry.
